2 European Galas in March!
The third European Gala of the season will take place on the 3rd March 2011. Iván Fischer (photo) will be conducting the Budapest Festival Orchestra and mezzo soprano Petra Lang through the last act of Richard Wagner’s “Götterdämmerung”.You can hear the Orchestra dell’ Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, winner of two Gramophone Awards, conducted by Antonio Pappano live on the 28th of March 2011 during the final European Gala of the season. On this night, at the Centre for Fine Arts they will perform a piece by Giuseppe Verdi: Sinfonia from “Aida”, the Concerto for piano and orchestra no. 1, S. 124 by Franz Liszt (with pianist Boris Berezovsky) andSymphony no. 1 (“the Titan”) by Gustav Mahler.Info & tickets: 070 210 217
